Development Background
PSequel was born out of developers’ dissatisfaction with existing PostgreSQL GUI tools. Although pgAdmin is feature-rich, its interface is complex and difficult to use. Other tools are either web-based or Java-based, or lack essential features. Inspired by Sequel Pro (which only supports MySQL), the developers decided to create a native macOS tool for PostgreSQL with a comparable excellent user experience.
