After successfully installing the Ubuntu virtual machine, if you need to modify its configuration, remember to power off the Ubuntu VM first. Then, go to VMware's menu bar and select "Virtual Machine - Settings - Processor and Memory" to make changes.

Issue: Too small software icons and text

After installing Windows 7 in Parallels Desktop, you may notice that software icons and text appear too small. To enlarge them, perform the following settings:
Go to "Actions --> Configuration --> Hardware --> Graphics", and in the resolution section, choose "Scale" instead of the default "Optimized for Retina Display".

After restarting the software, everything will work normally (though the Windows interface may appear to have lower resolution; however, applications will function smoothly and comfortably).
