Common Markdown Tips

001 Bold Text

Press 'command+B', type any letter such as 'a', then press Enter. The cursor will automatically skip over the text and the following markup (i.e., the two * symbols), stopping right after **. Aside from Ulysses, no other software currently offers this feature. In other applications, pressing Enter typically moves the two ** symbols following the letter 'a' to the next line.
